Parthenogenesis is an asexual reproduction method where offspring are produced without fertilization. The offspring of parthenogenesis is effectively a clone of the mother, so is always female.
In a honey bee, offspring can be diploid (chromosomes from both parents) or haploid (chromosomes from one parent only). The queen holds a store of sperm from her mating flight about a week after emerging from the brood cell and releases a sperm to an egg just before she lays it. This fertilized egg will develop into a diploid female (16 chromosomes from the queen and 16 from the drone).
If the queen lays an egg which she does not fertilize, it will develop into haploid male (16 chromosomes from the queen only). It is possible, but rare, for there to be a diploid male, but in this case it never becomes sexually mature.
Because the result of an unfertilized egg is a male, this is not the result of parthenogenisis.
This takes place in the mitochondria.
Honey typically takes the longest to spoil out of the three options you listed (cashew, pasta, honey). Honey has a very long shelf life due to its low water content and natural acidity, making it resistant to spoilage. On the other hand, cashews and pasta have a higher moisture content and are more prone to spoilage compared to honey.
Photosyntesis takes place in the chloroplasts.
a microscope and photosynthesis takes place in the leaf
photosynthesis takes place in plant cells
no, but if incomplete combustion takes place then smoke is produced.
With the exception of plants that develop fruit through parthenogenesis, a stigma is required. The stigma is where the pollination or fertilization of the plant takes place.
an incomplete circuit
Not sure, but Im aware that incomplete combustion takes place in candles, as the ratio of oxygen to the fuel is incorrect. Maybe a feed of oxygen could help.
Honey
The Vice President takes over.
it takes honey from flowers
This takes place in the mitochondria.
it takes place in your stomach.lol
It takes a total of 21 days from the time that the queen lays an egg to the time that a larva hatches as a fully developed adult worker honey bee.
The place and time the story takes place is the setting.
