thermoplastic
There are hundreds of things that can be made from thermoplastic. Thermoplastic is plastic molded at a certain temperature, then cooled and it becomes a very hard, solid object when cooled. Signs, logos, and even medical equipment can be made by thermoplastic.
Thermoplastic materials are commonly used to make various products such as plastic bottles, food containers, toys, and medical devices. They are also used in automotive parts, cables, and household items like kitchen utensils and storage containers.
Many bottles now are actually made of poly-beta-hydroxybutyrate which is biodegradable. It's made in bacteria that uses this compound to store extra carbon, so there are enzymes that degrade it, in contrast to plastic, which takes hundreds of years to degrade.
Thermoplastic olefin is a plastic that helps absorb the energy from a crash or bump. And when you crash into something that is also made of thermoplastic olefin, it will bump back to you which will cause different forces. Like in Newtons first and third law of motion

Yes, water bottles are typically made of thermoplastic materials like polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or high-density polyethylene (HDPE). These materials are lightweight, durable, and easily recyclable, making them popular choices for packaging beverages.
Items made out of Thermoplastics include: Plastic Bags Water Bottles Chairs There are many more but these are the ones I know.
Thermoplastic resins are incredibly useful and common in our everyday life. DuPont is the leader in them. The most common is PET or Polyethylene terephthalate which is used to make soda bottles.

If it has the recycled number on the bottom (probably code 2 HDPE) it is definately thermoplastic. One characterisitics of thermoplastics is that they can melt and be remoulded whereas thermosetting plastics can not (they will char). Therefore, it logically follows that if it can be recycled it will be a thermoplastic polymer.
PET, it is a thermoplastic which means it can me molded and melted over and over. Used in the creation of water or soda bottles.
Yes. The Rubik's Cube is made of ABS plastic, a common thermoplastic.
A helmet is typically made from thermoplastic material, which can be reheated and reshaped. Thermosetting plastic, once molded, cannot be reheated and reshaped.
Compact discs are made from polycarbonate which is one form of thermoplastic. Consider thermoplastic is a superset which contains various forms of polymers and polycarbonate is just one of them. So the statement compact disc is made from thermoplastic is true. But to be more specific compact disc is made from polycarbonate.Refer to the article on for more detail on the material used in making compact discs.
