There are two levels of difficulty in dealing with climate change caused by human activity. The fiirst is political, the second involves practical and technology issues.
Politicians usually prefer to take the safe option. If the majority of the public is not clearly aware of the consequences of climate changes, politicians can regard it as in their short term interests to avoid action to minimise climate change. And you can be sure that there are those in business who wish to spread misinformation and keep the public as uninformed as possible, to avoid regulatory changes that could require action on their parts. The difficulty is that there is simply not the political will to address the problem, and in some areas this may not exist until disaster is upon us.
A practical issue is that there is nothing we can do to stop immediately our contribution to greenhouse gas emissions. Our lifestyle simply requires the use of electricity, which is largely produced by burning coal and oil. Our lifestyle also requires quick and convenient transportation, which mainly requires us to use oil. So we need to to be more frugal, getting more consumer benefit out each unit of electricity. We also need to introduce better ways to produce electricity and to move around without heavy reliance on fossil fuels. And even then, we can not replace billions of dollars worth of infrastructure overnight. But the sooner we begin to plan and address these issues, the sooner we can move down that road.
The common idea is that a warmer climate means that there will be more energy to power violent storms such as tornadoes. This view is grossly oversimplified. Weather and climate are very complex and difficult to predict. Scientists are still uncertain how climate change might affect tornadoes.

The main concern with climate change is thatIt is already happeningGovernments and big business are doing very little to deal with itWe are reaching tipping points that it may be impossible to recover from
It's not that other people are difficult to deal with, it's that we don't want to change to work with them.Because everyone is different.
Climate is changing day by day. In winter it will get worse.

mammoths don't have a problem surviving...they're all extinct.
Climate change made it difficult for wolly mammoths to survive because the weather was too warm for them. Their coats were excellent for the winter weathers but the weather became too much for them to handle come summer time. Also mammoths died out because climate change caused a massive decline to their grassland habitat which reduced food supplies.

A Change of Climate by Hilary Mantel has 528 pages.
It is not difficult. The one single cause of climate change is global warming. There are several causes of global warming, but the two main causes are the burning of fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) and deforestation (cutting down trees which used to remove carbon dioxide (CO2) from the atmosphere). Both these mean more greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, and this is what is causing global warming which is causing climate change. Not difficult to identify at all!
