It's not just difficult it's impossible. It's so hot on Mercury that your body would burnt to ashes almost instantaneously. Even if it weren't so hot or you find a place on the planet perhaps near the dark side that's just the right temperature, there is no oxygen there so you wouldn't be able to breathe. What you would inhale would only be poisonous gases and chemicals which would also kill you in a matter of seconds.

A space suit would also melt and incinerate right away, so that wouldn't protect you. If you had a space suit and you happened to find a spot that's the right temperature (which is highly unlikely) you may be able to survive for a short while, but you would have to have a very fast vehicle of some sort so when the planet rotates, you're moving with it so that the sun is constantly at the same spot in the sky.
