When the solar system formed the vast majority of the mass fell right to the center and formed the sun. Less than 1% of the remaining mass formed a disk of gas and dust around the sun. Most of the mass of the disk was hydrogen and helium, which was blown out of the inner solar system by the solar wind. Most of the material left behind was rock and iron dust, which formed the four innermost planets and the asteroid belt. The greatest portion of the rock and metal went into forming Earth, though that still represented only a tiny portion of the mass of the original disk. Most of the matter in the disk around the sun went in to forming Jupiter.

1.99 x 1030 kg, or 330,000 times the mass of Earth.
The mass of a typical neutron star is believed to be between one and three times the mass of the sun. However, in size they would be much smaller than the earth, something on the order of around ten kilometers in diameter.
Even though the sun is about 1.3 million times the size of earth, the mass is only about 28 times greater. This is largely because the sun is comprised of gas (hydrogen and helium mostly). The sun actually has a gravitational force of about 28 times that of earth.

Yes. The mass of the sun is about 333,000 times that of Earth.

The Sun is much more massive than the Earth. The Sun's mass is about 330,000 times greater than the Earth's mass.
No, the Sun is much heavier than the Earth. The Sun's mass is about 333,000 times greater than the Earth's mass.
Yes, the sun is enormously more massive than the Earth.
The sun has a much greater mass than Earth, while the Moon has a smaller mass than Earth. The mass of the Sun is about 330,000 times greater than the mass of Earth, while the mass of the Moon is about 1/81st of Earth's mass.
1.99 x 1030 kg, or 330,000 times the mass of Earth.
Yes. The Sun has about 109 times the Earth's diameter, over a million times its volume, and 333,000 times its mass.
The Sun has 109 times the size of the earth. It has 1,300,000 times the volume of the earth And 332,900 times earthes mass. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sun http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earth
The Sun has a mass of 1.9891×10^30 kg. The Earth has a mass of 5.9736 x 10^24 kg. So the Sun is about 332,900 times heavier than the Earth.
The sun's mass is about 333,000 or about one third of a million times that of Earth, but the sun's volume is about 1.3 million times that of Earth. In other words, the sun is less dense than Earth. Mass is a measure of how much matter is in an object, not its size.
The mass of a typical neutron star is believed to be between one and three times the mass of the sun. However, in size they would be much smaller than the earth, something on the order of around ten kilometers in diameter.
