Which law if motion says force is equal to mass times acceleration?

Newton's Second Law of Motion states that force is equal to mass times acceleration. This law describes the relationship between the force applied to an object, its mass, and the resulting acceleration.

What is the name of the newton's second law of motion?

law of inertia

The calculation of mass x acceleration applies to which of newtons law of motion?

Newton's second law of motion states that the acceleration of a system is directly proportional to and in the same direction as the net external force acting on the system, and inversely proportional to its mass.so the answer is Newton's second law of motion. gimme a good raction plz

What is another name for newtons second law?

Another name for Newton's second law is the law of acceleration. It states that the force acting on an object is equal to the mass of the object multiplied by its acceleration.

What is name of the second Newton law?

The second law of motion by Newton is known as the law of acceleration. It states that the acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the net force acting on it and inversely proportional to its mass. This law is mathematically represented as F = ma.

What is the acceleration of a falling object caused by?

Newton's Second Law of Acceleration says it is gravity.

How does acceleration vary with force?

Newton's Second Law: force = mass x acceleration.

What is the the amount by which the speed increases in one second called?

It is the acceleration.

Why is the first lawsometimes called just a special of the second law?

The First Law is sometimes called just a special case of teh 2nd law, where F=0. This is the case of Equilibrium and inertia, no Force, no acceleration.

How are force mass and acceleration are related by newtons second law of motion?

Force=mass*acceleration

Which law states force depend on the mass and acceleration of an object?
