It is a problem because it allows more UV rays to enter earth. These UV rays heat up the Arctic zone such as the north pole and Antarctica causing them to melt. This is bad because 1. it destroys polar bear habitats but more importantly because the ice caps in the Arctic regions deflect this rays but as ice melts UV rays hit the ocean and warm the water. As the water warms more hurricane are produce due to the overheating in the water. This is known as the greenhouse effect and it is one of the biggest causes for global warming.

Ozone is not a problem. You may think the depletion of ozone causes global warming. But you are wrong, because ozone is a greenhouse gas. So if you take it away, the earth

will cool down and not warm up.

If you do not believe me checkout en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenhouse_gas

Or do research for yourself.

The ozone hole occurs every year, at each pole, when it is late winter / early spring. It has done this ever since there has been an ozone layer... hundreds of millions of years. It is not the hole that is the problem, it is the size and duration that indicates overall ozone layer health.
