The temperature range on the Earth is much less than it would be without the oceans and the atmosphere. The oceans form a big thermal reservoir because they do not absorb the Sun's energy at the surface, but continuously down to a depth of several metres, so the temperature change is slow. This contrasts with the land areas which heat up much more quickly as soon as the Sun shines on them.
The atmosphere also plays a part because there is a very fine balance between the heat and light that get in, and the heat and light that are radiated out again into space. Without the atmosphere the temperature might be 100 degrees C in the day and minus 100 at night. So we rely on the atmosphere, with the correct balance of gases, to keep the temperature stable.
The balance depends on the right amount of greenhouse-effect, and if we change the balance by introducing more 'greenhouse gases' we will change the temperature. This is generally believed to be the case but there is a lot of argument about how much.
how is earth different from the othetr inner planets
No
it makes it different becuz it is the only planet which has life!
You don't, necessarily. On Jupiter you would weigh more than twice your weight on Earth. Your weight would be different on the different planets because the strength of gravity varies.
Earth has seasons because its axis is tilted relative to its orbit around the sun. This tilt causes different parts of the Earth to receive various amounts of sunlight throughout the year, resulting in the changing of seasons. Other planets may not have seasons if they have a less pronounced tilt or different orbital characteristics.
how is earth different from the othetr inner planets
yes,it is
Other planets do not have water nor life
earth has air , water and life.
It's because Earth has an atmosphere.
No
No. They are all different
Mercury,Venus ,Earth and Mars are rocky planets and are made of rocks. On the other hand Jupiter,Saturn,Uranus and Neptune are gaseos planets and made up of liquids.Planets also have temperature and size difference.
The can of soda would weigh a different amount on other planets because they don't have the same amount of mass as earth does.
It has different gravity and climate than other planets.
The other planets are different from the earth in various ways. This includes distances from the sun, size, rotational speed, element composition and so much more.
Because there eather closer to the sun or farther way.
