The wealthy rainforest is underhtreat. mainly because of the desforestation reason. And from this reason grow the little reason for it too. For example in Amazon basin, people started to open the river which cause million acres of rinforest being destroy. The another obvious reason is that the infrastruture project from human logging road. Open road they have got to decrease the area of rainforest to make this. As we can notice that most of the country who has rainforest are poor countries. For example: Brazil, Democratic of Congo..etc. The Government forced to exploit the rainforest , get the precious timbers. Just for making money!

The rainforest in central Africa is called the Congo Basin or Congo Rainforest. It is the second largest tropical rainforest in the world after the Amazon Rainforest.
A hot spot is a geographic area with a significant concentration of biodiversity that is under threat from human activities. One well-known hot spot is the Amazon Rainforest, which is home to an immense variety of plant and animal species but faces challenges such as deforestation and climate change. Protecting these areas is crucial for conserving global biodiversity.
It's the area above the tall trees that tower the forest, and under those trees are the undercanopy. =P
Some rainforest catastrophes include deforestation caused by logging, agriculture, and infrastructure development. This leads to loss of biodiversity, habitat destruction for various species, and disruption of critical ecosystems. Climate change also poses a significant threat to rainforests by altering weather patterns, increasing droughts, and intensifying forest fires.
because people make paper with trees and where the rainforest is they want to put houses there
People are cutting down the rain forests for farmland and money.
Loggers and Prospectors destroying there land
Pollution is not a threat to the rain forest. In fact pollution has mostly gone down in the last 100 years.

Threats to the rainforest include deforestation for agriculture, logging, mining, and infrastructure development. Climate change is also a significant threat, leading to increased temperatures, droughts, and more frequent wildfires. Illegal hunting and wildlife trade further endanger the biodiversity of rainforest ecosystems.
