I would think off the top of my head Anthropology.....but my kids crossword human geography fits.....so go figure :)
I think geography came into the world a long time ago, when countries were invaded and stealing from each other, like the Romans. It became vital for the monarchy in the Tudor period, when America was being discovered and explorers like Sir Walter Raleigh were earning their money. Also, much later, the race for the Antarctica. Geography is key, and so's navigation and co-ordinates and the other sub-lessons in Geography. This is why it is taught, and between small people, the Monarchy; Army; Navy, it has been taught for a long while. Hope this satifisys your query!!
Really, I don't know if that is so true
There could be several reasons why some Americans may not be as knowledgeable in geography. Factors such as the education system focusing on other subjects, lack of emphasis on geography in schools, and relying on technology for navigation instead of map reading could contribute to a weaker grasp of geography among some Americans.
Ptolemy's contributions to geography were important because he developed a comprehensive system of map projections and coordinates that laid the foundation for modern cartography. His work, especially the Geographia, helped standardize geographic information and improve navigation for centuries to come. Ptolemy's maps were instrumental in expanding geographical knowledge and understanding the world during his time and beyond.

The main difference between after-tax 401k contributions and Roth contributions is how they are taxed. After-tax 401k contributions are made with money that has already been taxed, so you won't pay taxes on that money when you withdraw it in retirement. Roth contributions are made with money that has not been taxed yet, so you won't pay taxes on the withdrawals in retirement.
