It is normal and harmless for that to happen from time to time. It is just because just about all of the tissues of the heart can trigger a heart beat and ocassionally they do.
If it is happening a lot it usually means that there is something wring with that muscle. It might not be getting enough blood or there might be scar tissue or an infection or any one of a number of other causes.
The AV valves separate the upper and lower chambers of the heart. The bicuspid valve is on the left, and the tricuspid on the right.
These valves prevent backflow of blood, ensuring that it moves in one direction through the heart. This helps to maintain proper circulation and ensures that oxygen-rich blood is efficiently pumped to the rest of the body.
Higher to lower.
The dye likely moved towards the respiration chamber due to the difference in concentration gradient. The dye molecules will naturally diffuse from an area of higher concentration (where the dye is added) to an area of lower concentration (the respiration chamber) in order to achieve equilibrium.
In all mammals, the heart is double pump. Each side of hte heart has an upper and lower chamber. The top chamber are called atriums and lower chamber are called ventricles. A one way flap called a valve connects the upper and lower chambers. when the heart muscle relaxes, blood flows through the open valves from the atriums into the ventricles. when the heart contracts, the flap is closed with a thump. the valve prevents the blood from moving back into the the atrium, and it is forced out of the heart through another opening. The sound from the valves can be heard through the tissues of the body and is often described as a lub-dub sound. I hope this helps everyone my son did this project for his science fair at Pioneer Academy of Science, Clifton NJ . Great project
It's the heart it has four chambers! The lower left, the higher left, the lower right and the higher right chamber!!
The heart has upper and lower chambers.
The lower chamber is the ventricle, and there are 2 upper chambers (they are known as atria).
The lower left chamber of the heart is called the left ventricle. It is thick and muscular hence manifests a stronger heart beat.
the lower heart.
A ventricle is one of the two lower chambers in the human heart.
They are called ventricles.
Its called the ventricle
Sudden cardiac death is usually caused by ventricular fibrillation (the lower chamber of the heart quivers instead of pumping in an organized rhythm).
right atrium, left atrium.right ventricle and left ventricle
Ventricle. It's a single ventricle heart.
There are 2 lower chambers. The left and right ventricles.
