California, Florida, and New York may very well be under water by 2012. It is a very scary thing to think about, but I, just being me, would love to know what kind of things are going on in our crazy world, and life. MY OPINION! MY OPINION! MY OPINION! DO NOT TAKE WORD FOR! MY OPINION!
As far as I know, there can only be one solid state of anything, as for water that's known as ice. If you mean the three states of water, you have just plain water (Liquid obviously) Ice (Solid) and water vapor or steam (Gas)
Water is a common substance that can exist in all three physical states: solid (ice), liquid (water), and gas (water vapor). Depending on atmospheric conditions such as temperature and pressure, water can transition between these states. For instance, ice forms at low temperatures, water is present at moderate temperatures, and water vapor arises when water evaporates at higher temperatures.
A shadow can go over the water, under the water, but never touches the water.
Water has three main states: solid (ice), liquid (water), and gas (water vapor). These states can change depending on the temperature and pressure conditions.
Water is the only element which is naturally found in all 3 states. Ice (solid) in the polar regions, Vapour (gas) in the air and liquid on the ground.

The states of matter of H2O (water) are solid (ice), liquid (water), and gas (water vapor). Each state is determined by the temperature and pressure conditions under which the water exists.

Many people are saying, yes. I am saying yes, too. Because Global Warming is causing all the ice to melt, and make the water level rise, and then all the state's on the water, will be under water. They say in 2012 it will, but really, it could happen at any time. I am very sad to hear if this IS true. This is just my opinion and please do NOT take my word for it. This is simpy my outake on this crazy world.Answer:No, it will be under water by 2050. The city is beginning to make floodgates so water wouldn't be able to get in and it will divert the water to some place else.
