This is a very controversial question. My personal belief is, since a black shirt absorbs the sun, it doesn't really allow any light to touch your body. However, a white shirt will reflect the light, so theres no tan either. My advice is to wear the white shirt, because theres the same chance of the tan, with more confort, and less sweat. However, it is true that, as long as you are hydrated, wearing a black shirt while exercising may help you lose more pounds. ---- Actually, the color of the shirt in visible light is completely irrelevant, what's important is the UV transmission properties. So this question is impossible to answer; you'd need to take a sample of the cloth and put it in a UV spectrometer to see which one allowed more UV through.
I think white dwarfs. This is because they are much more low mass than black holes. White dwarfs are much more common in the universe than black holes, because we have only discovered a few black holes whereas we are aware of many white dwarfs.
Water in a black bag will heat up faster than water in a white bag. This is because black absorbs more heat than white, so the black bag will absorb more sunlight and transfer that heat to the water more efficiently.
A black shirt in room temperature will generally reach the same temperature as its surroundings, which is typically around 68-72 degrees Fahrenheit (20-22 degrees Celsius). The black color of the shirt will absorb more heat from the environment compared to lighter colors, so it may feel slightly warmer to the touch.
Zebras have black stripes.Zebras do not have black stripes at all. Zebras are white with brown stripes but their stripes darken as the age. Look at a picture of a baby zebra and examine the color yourself! :-)
There are more white dwarfs. Only the most massive stars can form black holes. White dwarfs form from low to medium mass stars, which far outnumber the supermassive ones.
A black shirt will absorb more sun than a white shirt will
this is more a science question..... you can't really, but u can with a black shirt cuz it absorbs heat.
Wearing a white shirt in the sun makes you feel cooler because white reflects light and heat, while black absorbs it. This means that a white shirt will reflect more of the sun's rays away from your body, helping to keep you cooler. On the other hand, a black shirt will absorb more heat, making you feel warmer.
For the people who are obsessed of having a white skin, wearing black shirt is good. It will make your skin lighter. I don't know why. I'm not dark skin. But I wear black everyday cause it feels me more whiter skin. :D Only my opinion.
Black color absorbs more sunlight than light colors, so wearing a black shirt on a hot day can increase your body temperature by absorbing more heat from the sun. This can make you feel warmer compared to wearing a lighter colored shirt that reflects more sunlight.
White shirts reflect more sunlight and heat, keeping you cooler compared to black shirts that absorb heat. This difference is because white colors reflect most of the light spectrum, while black colors absorb most of it. Therefore, wearing a white shirt can help you stay more comfortable on hot and sunny days.
Yes. A white shirt reflects more sunlight than a black one which absorbs it. Absorbed sunlight is converted into heat.
the light attracts to black so it makes it hotter Black objects are black because they absorb all the visible radiation that falls on it. That light is then converted into infrared radiation which is essentially heat. White reflects radiation so you are cooler wearing white.
A white shirt reflects light while a black one absorbs it.
different colors effect temperature in many ways, they tend to absorb more or less amounts of heat. in example you water be more warm wearing a black shirt on a hot day then a white shirt.
Yes it does.
A black shirt absorbs more light and heat energy than a white shirt due to its darker color. The absorption of light causes the material to heat up more quickly, making the black shirt feel hotter to the touch compared to the white shirt.
