We also often use the information in obituaries to find the names of those in our community that have died, so we can send comforting information to our neighbors about the resurrection hope that Jesus promised in The Bible. Additionally: Well there's nothing wrong with having an obituary in the paper so yes it's fine. The person's family will be able to give a witness that way by stating their background and how they enjoyed the ministry as well as their hope for the future.
