Current production from waste recycling- report

A 2 meter X 1.5 meter capacity biogas plant (polymer) was modified to connect to toilet in the bus stand at Chekkanoorni but was not connected as the toilet was not open to public. All wastes including vegetable, fish, chicken mutton wastes and cattle dung were dumped into the plant . With in a week we got very high level of gas production. By using that biogas we are running a 1.5 KVA genset and have given connection to 19 lights at various places inside bus stand , roundana, Police station and along the main road

Totally we have spent Rs65000 for plant and genset etc from Nammakkal After seeing the difficulties in feeding the plants and enormous gas output, we have plans to have batch wise gas setup with one time feeding with one gas collection tank If one genset is provided by Govt all other things can be arranged by the consumers for all junctions, bus stand, common market and police station , cleaning the waste around and solving the power problem .

Kindly consider this and do the needful at your end
