If there is an "O" mint mark on the back, about $16 in average condition.

If there is an "S", about $20

If there is no mint mark (i.e. Philadelphia), the coin is fairly scarce and could be worth about $140. However you should have it authenticated to make sure it hasn't been altered.

Please check your pocket change. ALL coins carry the motto E Pluribus Unum so that isn't useful to ID a coin. Also, you didn't note whether either coin has a mint mark under the eagle on the back, because that can make a big difference to their value:

For the 1881, most are worth $16 to $20 depending on how worn they are. But if it has a "CC" mint mark on the back, that range is $260 to $400!

Differences are less for the 1898 coin. With no mint mark or an "O", the same $16-20 range holds. If it has an "S", it would retail for a couple of dollars more.
