When you publish your writing it takes a year to publish it. The reason behind this is when they get the book the need to make the cover, copy the pages, chose the format, get the right pictures, choose the text, and make sure they did everything right. If they mess up they need to do the process all over again. Then when they get it right they copy the book. Into millions of copies. And after a year they put put it in the store. Every time a book is sold 5% of the money goes to the author.
