Who was the first person to make the first shoe?

There is no way of knowing who devised the first shoe, because that would have occurred long before any recorded history was written. Also, different individuals in different cultures in separate regions of the world probably came up with various sorts of protective foot wraps, boots or sandles independantly of one another.
