Nash left the WWF regarding the incident knows as ''MSG''. Scott Hall wrestled Shawn Michaels for the title, at Madison Sqaure Gardens [Hence MSG], once the match finished HHH and Nash entered the ring. They decided to break Kayfabe and ''Hug'' each other and wish each other luck in future prospects. Hall had already planned to leave and go to Bischoffs WCW.

Upon breaking Kayfabe they were both [Nash and Hall] subsequently firedm leaving only HHH and Michaels within the WWF.

Kevin Nash left WWF in 1996 to join WCW because he was offered a better contract and creative opportunities by WCW. Nash, along with Scott Hall, formed the New World Order in WCW, which was a major factor in the rise of WCW during the Monday Night Wars.
