If you don't want to go pay for a new cast don't be an idiot like the first guy suggested and just go take a shower. It would be rediculous for you to think you can just hold your arm away and it will be okay. If the water touches the cast at all it can weaken the bandages and/or make them change shape which is obviously not good for your broken arm. What to do: A. Take a bath and keep a side table or something to rest your arm on, or B. If you really want a shower or don't have a bath take a plastic bag or garbage bag put it over the cast and tape it so the water can't get in.
If your cast is moist from perspiration or even from an accidental soaking in the shower, use the CastCooler to quickly dry your cast. Keeping your cast dry is the best way to avoid bacteria growth which causes odor and itching. The CastCooler is designed to keep your cast dry & fresh, remove moisture from perspiration or accidental wetting and can be used with any cast.
of course...but don't take a shower...you don't want the skin under your cast getting wet as that could cause your skin to rot

Adjustable shower arm extensions can be adjusted in length to accommodate different heights and preferences.
