As with any job, it depends on the location and years of experience. I have been a CNA for 23 years and make $16.23 per hour. I started in 1989 at just under $6, and have worked my way up. For a new CNA just out of classes, you can expect between $10 and $12 per hour at most places. Of course, bigger hospitals and nursing home pay scales are far more desirable as compared to small town community owned facilities. Good Luck!
