Another answer:Depends on what part of you was sutured. The wound will of course open some, but you can't really re-suture most wounds after the first 12-24 hours or so from injury. So it depends on what the suture was closing. Minor wounds can be kept clean with a light antiseptic and a dressing. More critically placed sutures (closing a surgical chest wound for example) that open into deeper structures, or facial wounds which can scar, should probably be shown to a doctor.
