Backlight bleeding refers to a display issue where light leaks around the edges or corners of a screen, particularly in dark scenes or images. This phenomenon occurs when the backlight of an LCD screen isn't uniformly distributed, causing bright spots or patches that can be distracting. It is most noticeable on screens with high contrast, and while it can be a manufacturing defect, some level of backlight bleeding is common in many displays.
Yes, this particular watch does feature a backlight
From my experience with multiple HTC Desires, yes. All new screen technologies these days have their weaknesses. S-LCDs have backlight bleeding which is only visible on black color so it's not a big deal, AMOLEDs have burn-in issues and somewhat pink, green or blue tint over the whole screen, and their performance drops faster through time compared to other screens, such as S-LCD.
Go to the sttings menu and select backlight then select off.
You cannot download a backlight on a Kobo Touch e-reader.
The Kobo does not have a backlight. You will have to attach a reading light to it :S

No, the Nook Color does not come with a backlight. However, you can adjust the brightness of the screen.

yes it does
20,000 to 30,000 hours (approx 3 years) is the average life of a LED backlight display.
To turn on the backlight on a Dell Vostro laptop, you can typically adjust the brightness using the function keys on the keyboard. Look for the brightness symbol, usually represented by a sun icon, on the F keys (often F11 and F12). Hold down the "Fn" key while pressing the appropriate function key to increase or decrease the backlight brightness. If your laptop has a dedicated key for backlight control, pressing it should also activate the backlight.
My guess is a LED.
