In order to fully care for lillies, you must water them freely and every two weeks you must add high potash liquid fertilizer. During the winter, you must keep the lillies moist. Every spring, you must apply a small layer of compost with a two inch layer of mulch. During the summer, you must water your lillies if the rainfall is lower than 1 inch per week. You must stake the tall lillies. When the flowers fade, you must cut the back of stalks until you reach the bottom of plant. When the lillies have bloomed, you must divide them up and replant them with compost and bonemeal.
