The dining room is called 'la salle à manger' in French

That is difficult for two reasons. One, "great food" is an americanism and two, it would depend on the context in which it was said. During a nice meal it might be "un repas excellent" (an excellent meal) But if you were looking at the shelves in a French supermarket it might be "la nouritture excellente"
If you say it with the English accent, it will be fine. You just pronounce the "g" as a "j"
