yes otherwise the patient will have a pole hitting their back when they are transfered onto another bed, who would want a pole digging into their back?!?!?!
Since there does not appear to be anything available online called a “father bed,” the answer to this question will assume that you mean “feather bed.” A feather bed will actually be the last thing that your back needs if you already have back troubles. Your better bet is going to be to get either a firm mattress with good back support, or, if you want something softer, you should look into getting a memory foam mattress, as those offer really good back support. A feather bed is going to be far too soft for a bad back.

What has changed in her life? If there is nothing new that you can see, she may just need some reassurance. Don't forget, you are her "pack" and sometimes we all need the reassurance of our family. Let her sleep with you if it makes her feel better. Once she sees she's welcome in your bed, she'll probably go back to her own bed within a few days. Or she'll decide she likes to snuggle and you'll never get her to go back to her own bed. Either way, she'll be happy. Both my dogs sleep with me and I wouldn't have it any other way.
