You are on the North Pole.
White. The house is built on the North Pole, so all the windows face south. The bear is white and is a polar bear.
White. If all 4 sides face south, the house is at the North Pole. In that region, the only bears are polar bears. Polar bears are white. (They're actually yellowish-white, because of their high fat diet.)
White - it is a polar bear. The house is on the North Pole, that's the only way all sides would face south.
the men were all married
Six chairs, and that also includes seating two grandsons.......actually, you only need four chairs. Each chair seats one man, and assuming all the men are fathers - and that 2 of the men are grandfathers as well - this meets all the requirements of the riddle since all four men are somebody's son.
over the North pole
A house with walls all facing in the same direction is a house that is sitting smack bang on top of the north pole. that way, all four walls are facing south. :D
Build it on a rotating platform. Build it directly on the North Pole.
If all directions are south, then the house stands on the north pole, and the bear is white.
all four walls
It depends on which way you are facing. If you are facing north then it appears to be moving from your front to behind you. If you are facing west then it is moving from your right to your left. If you are facing east then it is moving from your left to your right. If you are facing south then it is coming from behind you and going out in front of you. Regardless of where you are standing on the equator, south is still south, north is still north, east is east and west is west. The only place where some question may occur is if you are standing on the exact north or south pole. If you are exactly on the north pole, then all wind comes from the south and goes to the south. That's because as you stand on the North Pole and point, everywhere that you point is south. The same happens at the South Pole. Everywhere you point is north. It is like the question, "If you are in a square house and all four walls face south, and a bear walks past, what color is the bear?" The bear is white because it is a polar bear. The only place that the house can be, is dead center on the North Pole. Hope that helped.
This only happens in the northern hemisphere, and the reason is becasue South is the main direction of the sun. It will rise in the South-east and set in the South-west, but a house facing South will get sunlight all day.
not south is all i can tell you, or maybe it is, hum
White. The house is built on the North Pole, so all the windows face south. The bear is white and is a polar bear.
The main problem facing South-South Cooperation is lack of an independent capacity to analyze global issues. All existing experts belong to institutions funded by the West or intellectually subservient to various ideological/national camps.
