¿Cuál de las dos opciones? Porque no me queda claro:

... que está haciendo --- ... who / that is doing...

¿Qué está haciendo? --- what are you doing (formal you singular); what's he / she doing?

Please! Write clear and correct contexts to avoid these terrible confusions.

it means: what is he/she/it doing? esta can also be used for the formal you (usted)

Que esta la escuela?

Bad Spanish grammar: What is (wrong form of the word) the school. Dónde esta la escuela = where is the school Qué es una escuela = what is a school francis says: it can also be a fragment of a sentence: Qué está la escuela .... "haciendo"? the problem is that without the tilde (´) it means nothing, if it's a question it has to have a (´) over the qué, so because it doesn't have it, i will assume that "esta" could also mean "está", which changes completely the meaning of the frase. Expl. que esta la escuela that this the school Qué está la escuela ... haciendo What is the school ... doing hope my answer clarified your question

What does Que puedes hacer con esta tarjeta mean?

What can you do with this card

In spanish translate what are you doin?

¿Qué está haciendo usted? or, in the familiar ¿Qué estás haciendo? Or you could use the present indicative, ¿Qué haces?, Since in English we usually translate that to "What are you doing?"The spelling of what are you doing? in spanish is: ¿qué estás haciendo?

How do yuo respond to que esta haciendo?

'Que esta haciendo' = 'What are you (formal)/is he/she/it doing?' You would respond by telling what you are/he/she/it is doing. Clearly, this could be so many things, it is impossible to give a complete answer. But depending on the relevant verb, and person: In response to 'you', would reply 'estoy....' ( I am....) + the present participle of the relevant verb, e.g. (from 'pensar', to think) '....pensando'; (from 'dormir', to sleep) '....durmiendo', etc. In response to 'he/she/it', 'esta....' (accent on final 'a' + present participle of relevant verb, e.g. '....jugando' (playing), '....comiendo' (eating), 'escribiendo....' (writing), etc.
