Essentially 'lifelong friends, but it doesn't sound proper worded this way and it would be great to have someone Japanese weigh in on this. I would think something more like:
永遠までの友人 Eienmadeno yuujin, or
永遠までの仲間 Eienmadeno nakama
どう思いますか?
it means "Eternal flame"
Tomodachi is the Japanese word for Friend.
The phrase 'eternal love' may be written a few different ways in Japanese. Some are æ°¸é ã®æ„› (eien no ai), æ°¸é ã®æ‹ (eien no koi) and also æ°¸é ã®æ‹æ„› (eien no renai).
well "eien" means "forever" or "eternal"
You can say 一生の友達 (isshou no tomodachi) to mean "friends forever". Its literal meaning is "lifetime friends", and this makes sense when you think about religion in Japan over time, which has had little to do with a reunion-based afterlife and more to do with Buddhist/Hindu philosophies, thus two people being "friends forever" would be seen as impossible and the term "lifetime friends" is used.
Dream of eternity
Tomodachi is the English form of the Japanese word 友達, meaning "friend(s)".
