Japanese doesn't use definite or indefinite articles. So you wouldn't say "He sold the/a TV" "We went to the/a museum". It would be written with either just the noun or it would be more descriptive by, for example, saying "He sold that TV" or "We went to Edo Tokyo Museum".

It's possible to indicate the television as that television そのテレビ sono terebi あのテレビ ano terebi
