An Indian baby is called the same thing as any other baby or infant. There WERE a couple of tribes who called their babies papooses, which is the answer I think you wanted. However, the question is what IS a baby called and they are called babies or infants or by their names. Additionally, most Indian people did NOT call their babies papooses. That is Hollywood history.

What is a privet?

Privets [Ligustrum] are shrubs and small trees that are native to Asia, Australasia, Europe, and North Africa. They're so-called, for the privacy they give as hedges. They're attractive to wildlife, because of their fragrant small flowers, and for their small black or purple fruits ka drupes. In fact, their fruits produce thousands of seeds for birds. And they're food plants to certain larvae, such as that of the willow beauty butterfly. But they can also be unattractive. For they're poisonous to horses. Outside their native range, they can take over wildernesses and outcompete native plants. And their pollen can cause Asthma and eczema in people.
