Bonzai! Which roughly translates to the Japanese empire will last 10000 years. I always laugh and the folks that use Bonsai in their company/club names thinking that was the war cry. That's nipping itty-bitty trees with small scissors. Bonzai is "I'm coming over this wall with a bayonet on the end of my rifle and I don't intend to survive, but through my actions my empire will." In Spanish this is slang, it is a word to describe someone of lighter complexion. Usually used to describe a white man or a man who appears white. In Mexican Culture folks will often be referred to by their nick name more than their normal name, even when it might not apply to them any more. Some of these terms may seem offensive but they are not considered as offensive in their culture. For example a skinny woman named Maria might more often be referred to as "La Flaca" (the Skinny one) Other common nick names include, "EL Gordo" (the Fat one), "Pelon" (Baldy) "El Negro" (the Dark one), or "El Enano" (the Midget, or Shorty)
In France it is known as La guerre de sept ans (The Seven Years War). The Seven Years war refers to the entire war between France and England from 1856-1863, which took place in both Europe and North America (whereas the French and Indian War just refers the North American portion of the war, which was from 1854-1863, in which France was allied with the Native Americans against Britain in the North American colonies). The French don't have a term for "The French and Indian War" specifically - they don't separate it from the rest of the Seven Years War.

The last nation to surrender to the Allies during World War II was Japan. Following the dropping of atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945, Japan announced its surrender on August 15, 1945, which was formally signed on September 2, 1945. This marked the official end of the war in the Pacific and the conclusion of World War II.

The last and largest surrender of the American Civil War occurred on April 9, 1865, when Confederate General Robert E. Lee surrendered the Army of Northern Virginia to Union General Ulysses S. Grant at Appomattox Court House in Virginia. This event effectively marked the end of the Civil War, as it led to the subsequent surrender of other Confederate forces. Lee's surrender was significant because it symbolized the collapse of the Confederacy and paved the way for reconstruction in the United States.
