Say what in English?
Both words are in the Filipino language called Tagalog. "Kamusta" is the Filipino version of the Spanish phrase "Como estas", which in English means "How are you (doing)". "Maganda" is actually two things, "ganda" meaning "beautiful/attractive" with the leading "ma" or "mag" as stressing extra of something. So in this case "ma" + "ganda" means "very beautiful/attractive" in English. Similar to how some other cultures like India will say things twice over just to stress, or stack, importance to a word. For example "many-many", "happy-happy", and "rounding-rounding" (basically 'around' or 'turning around/U-turn').
This is not a Japanese phrase.
