Where is pambupatti?

The village is the fictional location of the moral short story What happened to the Reptiles by Zai Whitaker. Pambupatti was the Village of the Snakes, on a cliff at the edge of the jungle, and was ruled by the crocodiles until their king decided that other reptiles were too much trouble and began sending them away.
