Many countries have capitols for a variety of reasons. Capitols are used as a center of government where foreign ambassadors meet. They are a political center. Countries also have capitols to show off their wealth. Tall skyscrapers and interesting buildings are often seen in capitols, even in considerably poor countries. Capitols are usually surrounded by much historical importance and are a social mold for the rest of the nation, so they are an ideal way to get a good feel of the best of a country.
