Reverse pens, also known as reverse-action pens, are writing instruments designed with a unique mechanism that allows the pen tip to retract or extend in the opposite direction compared to traditional pens. When the user presses down on the pen, the tip retracts, and when they release pressure, the tip extends, enabling a more controlled writing experience. This design can help prevent ink from drying out and reduce smudging. Reverse pens are often used in specialized applications or by individuals seeking innovative writing solutions.
