As such, after January 22, 2016, after the cloud copies are deleted, this will in no way affect any local photos (be it on your devices or on your hard drives).Basically - it looks like the back-up copies of your files that were on 'the cloud' - are no longer there, as the site has closed. Their statement appears to claim that your back-ups will still be on your hard-drive somewhere - you will have to use another program to retrieve them.
