Losses due to the local disturbances of the flow in the conduits such as changes in
cross section, projecting gaskets, elbows, valves and similar items are called minor
losses. In other words, the losses that occur in pipelines due to bends, elbows, joints, valves, etc. are sometimes called minor losses. In case of a very long pipe, these losses are usually insignificant in
comparison to the fluid friction in the length considered. But In case of short pipes,
these minor losses may actually be major losses such as in suction pipe of a pump
with strainer and foot valves.
For a steady flow of charge through a surface, the current I in amperes can be calculated with the following equation:I = Q/t where Q is the electric charge transferred through the surface over some time t. If Q and t are measured in coulombs and seconds respectively, I is in amperes. Thus: I = 0.24 coulombs / 15 msec I = 0.24 coulombs / 15 * 10^-3 sec I = 16 amps
The flow of electricity (known as current) is measured in amps by an ammeter.

Well, honey, back in the day, those folks in Chicago wanted to clean up their mess, so they dug a big ol' canal to reverse the flow of the river away from Lake Michigan. They basically said, "Sayonara, pollution!" and redirected the river like a boss. And that's how the Windy City ended up engineering the Chicago River to flow backwards.
The major losses within a pipe are those that occur through out the lenght of the pipe, they are caused by the interaction of the water particles and the inner surface of the pipe as water flows through it. Now minor losses are those that occur due to fitting and connections in a pipe sytem, such as 90 degree bends or turns, or valves, etc. These cause minor losses. Major losses are more significant than minor losses.
we can improve the bernoulli equation by adding the head losses at the final flow state and also we account the major (friction loss and viscus loss) losses and Minor losses (pipe bend , pipe contraction , pipe inlet and outlet, pipe fittings , valves etc)... If we account those losses and added to the head losses then the Bernoulli's equation gives the very accurate value....

A flow skater is a skateboarder who isn't amateur (sponsored by one major company) but sponsored by more than one minor company's and competes in contests regularly.
The flow of fluid through a pipe can affect the overall efficiency of a system by impacting the pressure, velocity, and energy losses within the system. A smooth and consistent flow can help reduce friction and energy losses, leading to improved efficiency. However, turbulent flow or blockages in the pipe can increase energy consumption and reduce overall efficiency.
