If it were in its original condition it would be worth at least a couple of dollars. But the gold plating makes it an altered piece with no value other than that of the underlying copper-nickel coin, 50 cents.
1965 or 1966
To determine the age of someone born in 1973, you would subtract 1973 from the current year. For example, if the current year is 2022, the calculation would be 2022 - 1973 = 49. Therefore, someone born in 1973 would be 49 years old in 2022.
The answer is Current year - 1973 if you have had your birthday this year and one year less than that if you have not.

Maybe you mean Kennedy? Unless it is a proof coin or very high grade uncirculated, it's worth fifty cents.
Unless it is in Uncirculated condition (in which case it may be worth a couple of dollars), a 1973-D Kennedy half dollar is only worth fifty cents. All circulating half dollars dated 1971 and later are made of copper-nickel, so they really do not have any premium value.
It's worth 50 cents.
1973 Eisenhower dollars were NOT released for circulation, they were only available in the uncirculated mint sets sold that year. Average retail value is $5.00-$7.00 for a Mint State clad example.
No Kennedy half dollar dated 1973 was struck in silver, all are copper-nickel coins. Unless it's a proof coin, the value is 50 cents.
Please take another look at the coin. That's President John F. Kennedy on the half dollar. There's more information at the Related Question.
These coins do not contain silver and are worth only face value unless they are uncirculated or have the mint mark S.
With only about 150 million made it's still worth 50 cents
Please check again. The US printed $2 bills dated 1953 and 1963, but not 1973. 1976 is the closest date.
