This is a silly question that has been asked here before. The number is a measure of hardness of the graphite. A no. 1 is softer and a no. 3 is harder.
The volume of a pencil case is about 1 millimeter cubed.
WikiAnswers cannot see the pencil you are looking at so we cannot measure it for you. Pencils are usually not 3 feet long, however.

Oh, dude, a pencil is definitely less than a meter long. I mean, unless you have some giant novelty pencil or something. But your average, run-of-the-mill pencil? Yeah, definitely shorter than a meter. Like, imagine trying to fit a meter-long pencil in your pencil case. That would be a sight to see.
.There are so many units of length.2 mm is the lead of a no 1 pencil .
a 12 cm pencil is longer
A 1dm pen is longer than a 12cm pencil. 1dm is equivalent to 10cm, so a 1dm pen would be 2cm longer than a 12cm pencil.
On the Moon, the mass of a pencil would remain the same (since mass is an intrinsic property of an object), so it would still be the mass it has on Earth. However, the weight of the pencil would be about 1/6th of its weight on Earth due to the lower gravity on the Moon.
1 meter is about 3 feet so 36 inches about and a pencil isn't usually more than like 5.
