the highest United States currency bill currently is the one hundred dollar bill. But the United States used to print $500, $1000, $5000 and $10,000 bills up till 1945.

A few special $100,000 were printed in 1934 and 1935 but they were only used for transactions inside the government, and were never put into circulation.

You can still use denominations higher than $100, and you can find them in currency shops and auctions. But even though you can spend them it doesn't make much sense because they're worth more than face value to collectors.
