I think it depends on what you mean by "big". As this is a subjective term, it cannot be objectively defined without taking all data into account. If you mean "why is MY nose big," it's probably because you were born that way. If you mean "why aren't noses as ridiculously thin as they are after plastic surgery," that's because they don't occur that way naturally, generally speaking.
