Can a 15 year old kid go camping by them self?

I know many sixteen year olds that are quite capable of camping by themselves. Some even more than most adults. But I would recommend against ever camping alone. There are too many things that can go wrong even for an experienced camper/woodsman. You at least need someone else to get help if something happens. I think that you should be and also must be at least eighteen to camp in a federal or state park/forest.

Yes, you can go camping at 16. If you're talking about going to a campground, you'll have to be with an adult. I can't imagine any campground renting you a space at your age. If you're talking about camping on your property or that of a friend, I guess it's up to your parents.
