Yes, you can. I have shot countless lead slugs through a full choke, although greater accuracy can be attained by using a modified choke or a non choked barrel.
yes for a shotgun you need a rifle barrel DO NOT shoot slugs if you have a poly-choke!
no slugs should on be shot thru a improved cylinder shotgun. if you shoot thru any other choke it can cause the barrel to split
Yes: A Remington 870 shotgun with a modified choke will shoot any commercial shotgun slug.
I would avoid it if the shotgun barrel has a full choke. sales@countrygunsmith.net
Pellets or slugs. shotguns usually shoot shot or pellets, but you can shoot slugs. in Indiana we use a shotgun to hunt deer and use shotgun slugs, better to use a barrel with no choke in it. cylinder bore preferred.
I would not say it is recommended but I think it is okay if the barrel is Cylinder Choke. If there is a choke to the barrel, I'd advise against it.
You can, but, it will not be a good thing.
Yes, you can shoot a slug through a Win-Choke barrel on a Ted Williams 200 shotgun, but it’s important to ensure that the choke is not too tight, as this could lead to pressure issues or damage the choke. It's generally recommended to use a cylinder or improved cylinder choke for shooting slugs for optimal performance and safety. Always check the manufacturer's guidelines and ensure the shotgun is in good condition before use.
A shotgun can shoot up to 80 yards it it depends on what the choke is on the gun.
no
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FIRE BUCKSHOT OUT OF A THREADED BARREL WITHOUT A CHOKE TUBE INSTALLED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Danger, Danger, Danger
with the wingmaster barrel you can only shoot lead, but if you change the barrel to a slugster you can shoot slugs and buckshot, they also have a barrel for steel shot to.
