Typically, a mic jack (or microphone input) is designed for audio input, not output. It receives audio signals from a microphone rather than sending sound to speakers or headphones. However, some devices may allow for alternate configurations, but this is not standard practice. For sound output, it's best to use dedicated output jacks like headphone or line-out ports.
Using the sound card mixer, record from the wave output instead of the mic or mine inputs.
The one marked "Mic." You may need an adapter.
You will need to use your own digital voice recorder and then import the audio into the computer to put into iMovie. If you have a USB microphone you can plug that in to use. If the microphone has a jack plug you will need an adapter to connect the mic to a USB socket. The built in mic is not too bad it can be adjusted in the Input section of Sound in System Preferences.
Somehow my headphone jack in my laptop broke. Since I do not use the mic jack, is there any way to convert the mic jack into a headphone jack? I really need help. I have a windows 8.
you will find that there probably isn't anywhere to plug it in as the jack is smaller than the normal mic jack, but you might find a converter, i don't know if it will work though.
To connect a mic mixer to a Denon receiver, use the appropriate output from the mic mixer, typically a balanced XLR or 1/4-inch TRS output. Connect this output to one of the audio inputs on the Denon receiver, such as a line-level input or an auxiliary input. Ensure that the receiver is set to the correct input source and adjust the volume levels on both the mixer and receiver for optimal sound. Finally, check for any necessary settings on the receiver to accommodate the mixer input.
You need to have a video card with a video output jack. This output jack will be similar to the output jacks on VCRs, and use the same cable.
Using a sound input that is built into a computer isn't the best solution: An external sound card will normally produce better results but whether you use a built in sound card or an external one, there are two or three ways to connect a microphone. A dynamic mic can connect directly to the 3.5mm microphone input jack. Most of the lower cost mics are dynamic although there are many studio mics available. A condenser mic can be used but they normally need a voltage on the input connector to power them. Condenser mics are normally the preferred choice for recording and they can be used if a "phantom power supply" is connected between the mic and the input. With any microphone, an adaptor may be needed from either a 1/4" jack or an XLR connector to the 3.5mm socket. Many electronics stores will have the right adaptors. An alternative is to use an external mixer. One or more microphones can be connected to it and the output will be at a higher level than a single microphone and is likely to offer a better quality sound capture than using a microphone level into the sound card.
You can use Virtual DJ
The mic is designed to pick up sound external to the computer. If you want to edit the external sound with music internal to the computer then you will need to use the software that best suits your needs
You use an adapter.
To record with a Peavey 6505 Plus, first connect the amplifier's speaker output to a load box or an attenuator to prevent damage and allow for silent recording. Then, use a microphone to capture the sound by placing it in front of the speaker cabinet, adjusting the mic placement for desired tone. Connect the mic to an audio interface or mixer to record into your digital audio workstation (DAW). Alternatively, you can use a direct output from the amp (if available) for a cleaner signal.
