Humans want to prove to themselves that they can do anything they set themselves to do. There is no logical reason for climbing Mount Everest. It only shows us that humans are not satisfied with their existence, which is the reason why they do everything humanly possible to set a reason for their existence.
Because it was there, and nobody had done it before
People climb Mount Everest for different reasons but the main reasons are for the adventure and dream.
so they can see the whole world and be happy that they made it to the summit of Mt. Everest.
Climbing Mount Everest is personal challenge. The most common reason for climbing Mount Everest is to gain confidence in their ability to meet challenges. It is a spiritual journey for some.
As Mount Everest in the highest peak in the world, the people who want to reach the summit might have a thinking that they want to prove themselves of their adventurous spirit or they want to break a record, e.g. first in the world, first in their country...to get fame. There are many reasons I cannot list all of them so use your logical thinking to figure them out!

"Because it's there!"That's what British climber George Mallory said in 1924 when he was asked why he wanted to climb Mount Everest. Mallory and his partner disappeared in the attempt.
