On humid days, such as during the rainy season, swamp (desert) coolers are not very efficient at cooling the air. Air conditioners are not affected by high humidity.
Its called humidity
Yes, in theory, but impractical in execution. A swamp cooler normally pulls in outside air to treat, not inside air. If they are set up to recirculate inside air, they will over humidify the air, and cause sweating problems. A dehumidifier will be adding heat from the compressor into the space while it does its' job, while you then have three motors running (dehumidifier, pump, fan). For that running price, I think you could air condition your space. Those energy use calculations can be run, and you could determine it for sure. Find an engineering student to help you; it sounds like an interesting set of questions.
If the cooler is constantly topped off with ice, it might last two, maybe three days. Make sure the cooler is kept in a secure location at night, or the raw meat will attract wildlife.
High humidity in Qingdao, despite low temperatures, can occur due to various factors, such as local weather patterns, proximity to the ocean, and changes in atmospheric pressure. Even in cooler temperatures, moisture from the ocean can lead to increased humidity levels. Additionally, warm air can hold more moisture, and if warm, moist air moves into the area, it can raise humidity levels regardless of the cooler temperatures. Seasonal variations and specific weather conditions also play a significant role in humidity fluctuations.
sand is cooler than grass on humid days grass is cooler than sand on rain days so both really are the same temp
This climate is characteristic of a desert climate. During the day, the intense sunlight heats up the land quickly, leading to hot temperatures, while at night the lack of humidity allows this heat to escape, causing cooler temperatures.
because of it's humidity.

Relative Humidity is measured with a HygrometerHumidity is the amount of water vapor in the air.On hot days, when it feels sticky, the humidity would then be high.
