How can you improve your boring school uniform?

I have to wear a uniform too! It sucks but I think I've found some ways to make it better. At my school we are allowed to wear jackets and such and long-sleeved shirts over our polos. Sometimes we are allowed to wear short-sleeved shirts too. With that being said, hers what I do: I normally wear like a cardigan or jeans jacket on top of my polo. If it buttons up all the way to the bottom, I take the two end and tie it. I would wear that with a skirt and combat boots. Another way is to wear pants with a cardigan and a scarf (when it's cooler) and riding boots. On hot days, I wear my shorts rolled up a little and my polo with a necklace or something that pops without too much clothing. ALWAYS wear something original whether it's jewelry or a headband so that you look different from everyone else

Usually the point of a school uniform is to discourage individuality or rebellious behavior, so you shouldn't attempt to improve it in this case. However, if you are allowed to modify it, then you could add pins, badges, lace, patches, etc. If these changes are not allowed, then you could wear it differently than other people wear theirs. For instance, buttoning your uniform with less buttons than everyone else, folding the ends of your sleeves inwards or outwards, or even popping your collar could make you stand out.
