They climb up
The Holts carry them up.
In The 39 Clues, Book Eight: The Emperor's Code, Amy and Dan know that they have to somehow get to the top of Mt. Everest. Nellie, their au pair, solves this problem for them. She makes a phone call to an unknown person and convinces the pilot of a Ecureuil A-Star helicopter (one of the only planes capable of landing on the summit of Mount Everest) to take Amy and Dan to the top. So technically, they did not climb up Mount Everest, they flew up to the top.
In "The 39 Clues" series, Amy and Dan reach the top of Mount Everest by following clues that lead them to the famous mountain. Along the way, they face challenges and obstacles but ultimately use their intelligence, resourcefulness, and teamwork to successfully make it to the summit. Their determination and courage help them overcome the difficulties they encounter during their journey to the top of Mount Everest.
In a helicopter
The second person to reach the summit of Mount Everest was Tenzing Norgay. He did so on the 29th May 1953 just behind Edmund Hillary.
Amy and Dan reached the summit of Mount Everest by following an experienced guide and Sherpa team that supported and guided them throughout the ascent. They underwent extensive training and preparation before attempting the climb and relied on their physical fitness and mental determination to reach the top. Their success was also attributed to their teamwork, perseverance, and ability to overcome the challenges of high altitude climbing.
