you get a large bucket with a lid. Then go to a bait and tackle store and buy a bubble box.(they cost about $10 and take 2 d batteries to work)After you get this you need to somehow attach the box to the side of the bucket and then put the blue ball that is attached to the box by a hose in the water and turn it on this will create oxygen in the water so the minnows can breath. This will work with all live bait to keep them alive. Hope this helped and good luck fishing.

Yes, in the northeast (USA) they are known by the name "killies" and are the best bait for fluke fishing.
Something you put on the hook to bring in the fish. (night crawlers, minnows....)
No. They are actually quite sweet and when they grow up they are pretty friendly to. But, I would say not to keep them as peats because they are the kind of animals who need to be outside critters.

Depending on species targeted, worms, minnows, and crickets are best for most panfish.
Yes. Gulp lures will work in salt or fresh waters.
For largemouth bass, lures or shiners..Large minnows also catch gar and catfish.
Collective nouns for minnows are a shoal of minnows, a steam of minnows, a stream of minnows, and a swarm of minnows
Minnows, should take a while to die. But if you take them from there habitat ( Eg: a pond ) they will die alot quiker. I got some from a pond today, and they stayed alive for 3 hours.
I have some baby minnows and the eat goldfish flakes. you should also keep them separated from other minnows because they might try to eat them.
Live minnows work best, but many are taken on the various type of jigs, made for this species, that imitate minnows.
